Arte Fotopostal

Exchange as artwork. The postcard as gesture.

Rules

1st Arte Fotopostal Exhibition

Photographers, artists and the general public may participate, regardless of nationality, technique or theme.

Presentation

Works must be presented in photopostal format (see manifesto) measuring 10x15 cm, and the back must include sender information (including e-mail or Instagram for confirmation of receipt), dispatch date and recipient. Open theme. Each participant may send up to 3 photopostals by postal mail or by slipping them under the door.

All works received before July 1st, 2026 will be considered part of the open call.

Curatorship

The exhibition curatorship will be carried out by El Estudio or whoever it appoints.

A selection of the received works will be made for the exhibition, and some pieces may be excluded from display. The selected works will become part of the first Arte Fotopostal exhibition, to be held at El Estudio, Mercedes, Buenos Aires.

Afterwards, submitted works will not be returned and will become part of the project archive, and may be exhibited in other spaces and contexts. Participants authorize the use of their works, with proper credits, for exhibition and project promotion purposes.

Participants declare themselves authors of the submitted works and confirm that they hold the necessary rights for their use and exhibition. If identifiable persons appear in the images, the author assumes responsibility for having the corresponding authorization for publication. The organization is not responsible for conflicts arising from failure to comply with these conditions.

Participation certificates will be sent to authors whose works are included in the exhibition.

Admission

The organization reserves the right of admission and may exclude works considered offensive or not aligned with the established conditions.

Final considerations

Any situation not covered by these rules will be resolved by the organization, whose decision shall be final.
